Jonathan Aghravi is Principal of JBA Equities and has over 15 years of experience in finance and commercial real estate. After establishing Eastern Consolidated’s Capital Advisory Division as one of the leading commercial real estate finance groups in NYC, Jonathan Aghravi founded JBA Equities in 2019.

Jonathan provides his clients with creative financing solutions to help recapitalize their assets while providing them with much needed guidance and security. He oversees every deal and works tirelessly to negotiate and advocate on behalf of his clients.

Jonathan began his career on Freddie Mac’s Northeast underwriting team. He later became Managing Director of Hybrid Capital Markets Inc., where he played an integral role in establishing it as one of the leading boutique commercial mortgage firms in New York City.

In 2014, Jonathan launched Eastern Consolidated’s Capital Advisory Division to complement the firm’s thriving investment sales operation. As Principal and Managing Director of Eastern Consolidated, he executed over $1 billion in financing for all asset types, including permanent, bridge, construction and equity.

In addition to running JBA Equities, Jonathan mentors young professionals and is a member of several organizations including REBNY, YMBA and AIPAC. He genuinely cares about his community and donates to many local charities and other impactful foundations.

Eli Terry is the Managing Director of JBA Equities and has been an integral part of the team since its inception. With over ten years of experience in commercial real estate capital markets, Eli is skilled at adding value to his clients’ projects. He specializes in structuring complex real estate transactions across all major asset classes and excels in placing capital in every part of the capital stack.

Eli started his career at Portman Realty, where he structured the purchase, sale and lease of investment properties including multifamily and retail assets across NYC. As Director of Investment Sales at CBC Alliance, he oversaw office and retail leasing, commercial sales, management of commercial properties, and real estate finance. As the Director of Capital Advisory Group at Eastern Consolidated, Eli oversaw the structuring of complex real estate transactions including placing senior debt, secondary debt, and the structuring of joint ventures.

Eli graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. He went on to obtain his master’s degree in Elementary Education from City University of New York – Herbert H. Lehman College.

Yuval joined JBA Equities in 2023 and focuses on the firm’s debt and equity originations and relationships. Prior to joining JBA, Yuval worked as a Senior Associate for Meridian Capital Group in the company’s New York City headquarters and was responsible for underwriting and assisting in the placement of loans in the senior housing and healthcare sector, including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities across the country.

Yuval was previously an Associate at The Blackstone Group as well as a Tax Associate in the Commercial Real Estate Group at EY.

Yuval holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Binghamton University and a Master of Science in Accounting with a Concentration in Taxation from Binghamton University. Yuval is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State.

In 2021, Tim Cox joined the JBA team as a Associate Commercial Real Estate Analyst. He specializes in sourcing and evaluating a wide variety of debt and equity origination and placement assignments. Tim is instrumental in all aspects of the loan process, including initial structuring, underwriting, placement and closing. Tim is also responsible for market research, cash flow modeling, property valuation, borrower credit review, and preparation of loan briefs for lender committee approval.

Prior to joining JBA, Tim worked as a Senior Market Analyst for Refinitiv, where he was responsible for the evaluation of over 8,000 Canadian end-of-day prices for clients in Asia, Europe and the Americas. He also served as a Market Analyst at Thomson Reuters where he delivered valuations for debt instruments including sovereign, corporate, and municipal bonds as well as equity instruments using a discounted cash flow methodology paired with precedent transaction analysis. He began his career as a pricing Analyst at Fidelity Investments where he oversaw pricing of Fidelity’s Net Asset Values, for both equities and fixed income securities.

Tim graduated from New York University with a master’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the University of Scranton in 2013.

He further honed his financial skills as an E-commerce specialist for Walmart, where he assumed full ownership of four unique categories and grew them by over 27%. Prior to joining JBA, Evan worked as a Real Estate Financial Analyst for the Brown Family Office (Douglas Brown, Emeritus of Regent Properties), where he evaluated over 450,000 SF of commercial, multi-family and industrial projects and provided due diligence on properties valued at over $120 Million.
